Who we are
SMEloans.com is an independent information and referral platform for small and medium-sized businesses. Most SME owners know their bank as their only source of financing and are unaware of specialist alternatives — invoice factoring, trade finance, lease finance, working capital lines, and others. SMEloans.com exists to close that awareness gap: we help business owners understand what types of financing exist, and — where a business chooses to proceed — we introduce them to lenders in our partner network whose products may match what they’ve described.
What we do
- Publish plain-language educational content on business financing types
- Collect a business’s stated funding needs (type, amount, purpose, country) via a short form
- Present the business with potential lender matches drawn from our partner network
- Forward the business’s inquiry to one or more matched lenders after the business confirms it wants to proceed
What we are not
- We are not a lender. We do not extend credit, underwrite, or fund any loan.
- We do not negotiate rates or terms. All pricing, terms, and approval decisions are made solely by the lender.
- We do not give financial, legal, or tax advice. We present options; the business decides.
- We do not guarantee approval, funding, or timelines.
- We do not hold, transmit, or have access to loan funds at any point.
How we’re compensated
SMEloans.com may receive a referral fee from a lender when an introduction we make leads to a completed transaction. This does not change the price or terms a business receives from the lender, and it does not affect a business’s ability to walk away at any point before confirming an introduction.
Regulatory posture
SMEloans.com operates as an introducer/referral service. Lending decisions, credit risk, and regulatory compliance for the loan itself sit with the participating lender, who is independently licensed and regulated in its own jurisdiction. SMEloans.com’s own registration and licensing posture is reviewed on a market-by-market basis as we expand; this document does not itself constitute a legal or regulatory determination for any specific country.
